Message from Rael, Acting Principal

Dear CMS community

Welcome back to CMS for Term 2. It’s been lovely to say hello to everyone again, to see everyone’s happy faces, and to see the children getting back in to the swing of things.

We would like to extend an enormous thank you to all families who attended or helped with the end of Term 1 ‘Fantastic Friday’ events. It was a beautiful way to finish up before the Easter break; especially in sharing it with our community. And, what an absolute treat, to finally have a day without rain for the Outdoor Movie night! Thank you all, for coming out and spending the afternoon and evening with us…we look forward to doing it again on many occasions.

Another great big thank you, as we managed to raise $1245 with the Colour Run donations for the children! As promised, this money will be spent on beautiful planting and flowers to bring more colour to our environment. Keep your eyes peeled for colourful additions around the school through the term ahead.

Exciting times too, as our new early education day care centre will open on Monday 13 April. It’s all coming together nicely, and we’re looking forward to welcoming new families in to our school community. I’m sure that you will, but please say hello.

There’s so much that happens at CMS that is awesome, and we really want to share that with our wider community. As one means of shouting from the rooftops, please follow us on all your social media platforms as we look to grow in that area and tell the world how wonderful our school is.

Finally, with community growth in mind, we’d like to call on you, if we may… “If you like what you see, then go tell somebody!” And, if you would like a gentle nudge, or an anthem to sing along with, here’s a windows down, singalong rocker for you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQ7fZPXqdiY&list=PLA2K7Uhu9TwCtyOPEmeqr5hOOLQFLGjwU&index=13&t=0s

Thank you all, our doors are always open should you have anything you would like to chat about.

See you around school 😊

Rael
